Sion Medical has developed an antibacterial hydrogel dressing to prevent post‑surgical infection. HS‑Spirit is an antibacterial barrier layer, intended to create an ideal wound environment and promote the healing of acute and chronic wounds.
In collaboration with Sheba Medical Center, Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit, we conducted a study that delivered impressive results, with a high success rate and a decrease in infection rates from 6% to just 1.1%.
